Ambassador Zou Xiaoli Met with Newly-Appointed Minister of Shipping and Island Policy

On September 28, Ambassador Zou Xiaoli met with Mr. Dritsas, Minister of Shipping and Island Policy of the Hellenic Republic at the latter’s ministry. The two sides exchanged views primarily on China-Greece maritime cooperation.

Ambassador Zou said that China-Greece Maritime Cooperation Year has seen smooth progress, with a series of outcomes in port infrastructure development, ship building and maintenance, shipping, maritime culture, maritime tourism, maritime technology, maritime environmental protection and underwater archaeology, which has enriched the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. Ambassador Zou also conveyed to Minister Dritsas an invitation to visit China by competent Chinese authorities.

Minister Dritsas said that Greece and China enjoy wide prospects for cooperation, which is of great significance. He pointed out that his ministry was ready to work with China to make relentless efforts for this purpose. He accepted the invitation to visit China with great pleasure.
