In order to improve consular services, the Chinese Embassy in Greece will authorize the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Athens (hereinafter referred to as the Visa Center) to act for the consular legalization services.The Visa Center is a commercial institution registered and operated in accordance with Greek laws. The Visa Center is entrusted by the Embassy to provide services such as receivinglegalization application, reviewing materials, collectingfees, issuing certificates and consultation. The Visa center will charge a certain service fee.The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. From February 16,2022, The Consular Section of Chinese Embassy in Greece will no longer receive applications for consular legalization.Please submit your application to the Visa Center.

2. In addition to collecting legalization fees on behalf of Chinese Embassy, the visa center will also charge service fees. Please visit the center's website for details.

3. Applicants can check the application process and other relevant information for consular legalization on the website of the Visa Center.If you have any questions, please consult the visa center by telephone or mail.

4. The Visa Center does not participate in the examination and approval procedures for consular legalization.The Consular Section of the Embassy may request the applicant to provide other supporting documents or supplementary materials, or ask the applicant to go to the consular department for an interview.

5. Except for the Visa Center, the Consular Section of Chinese Embassy in Greece has not entrusted other institutions or individuals to handle consular legalization intermediary services.
