In his address, Ambassador Zou Xiaoli pointed out that Zhoushan has brought into full play its advantages in industry, resources, location, policy and talented people in recent years, and carried out cooperation with the Greek side in fields of shipping, shipbuilding, among others, with fruitful results. Last year, "the Dialogue between China and Greece on Maritime Civilizations" was successfully held in Zhoushan, which contributed to promoting exchanges on maritime cultures of the two countries. Currently, China-Greece relationship is facing rare opportunities for development. Ambassador Zou called upon entrepreneurs from Zhoushan to further strengthen exchanges with the Greek side, deepen mutual trust, build more cooperation platforms, and actively support and participate in the COSCO Piraeus port project, with a view to bringing new achievements in bilateral maritime cooperation.

Ambassador Zou and Secretary Zhou also witnessed the signing of seven agreements including "Agreement on Strategic Cooperation of International Maritime Service Industry" between Zhoushan Commerce Bureau and Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturing and Export Organization.
