Ambassador Zou Xiaoli Called Upon President of Greece

On September 26, Ambassador Zou Xiaoli went to the Presidential Palace to call upon President Pavlopoulos of the Hellenic Republic. The two sides had cordial and friendly talks.

President Pavlopoulos said that as a great and ancient civilization, China has also made tremendous achievements in the process of modernization. He said that he wished to send a video message to the Chinese leaders and people to congratulate on the Chinese National Day. President Pavlopoulos said that he was happy to note continuous progress in Greece-China cooperation in various areas. He hoped that the two sides would enhance high-level exchanges to inject new vigour in the development of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Zou thanked President Pavlopoulos for receiving him and for sending video messages to congratulate on the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. He expressed deep appreciation of President Pavlopoulos’ friendship with China and the attention he attached to the development of bilateral relations. Ambassador Zou also expressed the willingness of the Chinese side to make joint efforts with Greece to promote greater development of bilateral relations.
