On September 11, Ambassador Zou Xiaoli met with Minister of Economy Nikos Christodoulakis of the caretaker government. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening practical cooperation. Secretary General Nikos Christopoulos in charge of shipping was also present at the meeting.

Ambassador Zou briefed Minister Christodoulakis on China-Greece relations and key cooperation areas and projects. He said that it conformed to the common interests of the two countries to strengthen coordination and facilitate tangible results in bilateral cooperation. He said that the Chinese Embassy in Greece would keep close contact with the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism.

Minister Christodoulakis said that the caretaker government welcomes more Chinese investment in Greece, which will be of great significance for Greece to walk out of the crisis. He pointed out that his ministry would like to offer assistance and support in this regard.
