Ambassador Zou Xiaoli Meets with Secretary General of the Presidential Palace

On September 10, Ambassador Zou Xiaoli met with Georgios Gennimatas, Secretary General of the Presidential Palace of Greece. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest.

Ambassador Zou asked Secretary General Gennimatas to convey his greetings to President Pavlopoulos and briefed him on China-Greece relations. Ambassador Zou said that over the years the development of relations between China and Greece has enjoyed great attention from leaders of the two countries and enjoys solid foundation and broad prospects. He believed that after the elections high-level exchanges and exchanges in various areas would be further enhanced and new vigour would be injected into mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

     Secretary General Gennimatas said that President Pavlopoulos pays great attention to China-Greece relations and regards China as an important partner. He said that the Presidential Palace would enhance communication and coordination with the Chinese Embassy in Greece and give full assistance to the President to promote bilateral relations and practical cooperation in various areas.
