Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress: I. Ma Jia (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, replacing Chen Hai. II. Yu Dunhai was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, replacing Cui Jianchun. III. Tong Defa was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Ghana, replacing Lu Kun. IV. Yang Xiaoguang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, replacing Zeng Fanhua. V. Chen Hai was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, replacing Zhao Zhiyuan. VI. Wang Yu was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Federal Republic of Somalia, replacing Fei Shengchao. VII. Zhou Ping was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Gabonese Republic, replacing Li Jinjin. VIII. Han Jing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Zambia, replacing Du Xiaohui. IX.
