President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Wu Peng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of South Africa, replacing Chen Xiaodong.

II. Fang Hong (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, replacing Jiang Zaidong.

III. Wang Wenbin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, replacing Wang Wentian.

IV. Yang Xiaokun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Lesotho, replacing Lei Kezhong.

V. Yan Jiarong (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, replacing Dai Qingli (female).

VI. Dai Qingli (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Bulgaria, replacing Dong Xiaojun.

VII. Wang Xuefeng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Denmark, replacing Feng Tie.

VIII. Fei Shengchao was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Belgium, replacing Cao Zhongming.

IX. Wang Di was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Canada, replacing Cong Peiwu.

X. Lyu Jin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Nauru.

XI. Hua Xin was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Cuba, replacing Ma Hui.

XII. Wang Xiaoyao (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Costa Rica, replacing Tang Heng.
