Wang Yi Meets with Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh

On July 3, 2024 local time, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh in Astana.

Wang Yi said that China and Mongolia are inseparable neighbors and the sound and steady development of bilateral relations serves the fundamental interests of the two peoples. China attaches importance to the Mongolian side's statement that it takes developing friendship with China as its established policy. China is ready to work with Mongolia to maintain the political foundation of bilateral relations, cherish the fruits of mutually beneficial cooperation over the years and continue to push forward the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership.

Noting that China is Mongolia's permanent neighbor and partner, Battsetseg Batmunkh thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to Mongolia's economic and social development. Mongolia takes deepening its friendship with China as a priority in its foreign policy and is willing to expand practical cooperation with China in various fields and develop a long-term and stable Mongolia-China comprehensive strategic partnership.
