On April 26, 2018, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing at request with Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao of the United States (US), who was in China for the 9th China-US Transportation Forum. Both sides exchanged views on China-US relations and other topics of common interest.
