On August 27, Dimitris Sioufas, President of the Greek Parliament, met with H.E. Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Luo Linquan in Greek Parliament Building. During the meeting, Sioufas, on behalf of the Greek Parliament and people, expressed warm congradulations on the success of the Beijing Olympic Games. He said Beijing Olympic Games is a world sports event embodying splendid Chinese history and advanced modern technology, and made great contributions to upholding the Olympic Spirit and developing International Olympic Movement. The Greek people wish the Beijing Paralympics achieve the same level of success.

    Luo expressed appreciation for the support of the Greek government and people during the preparation and organizing process of the Beijing Olympic Games. He also exchanged views with Sofias on bilateral relations and the exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
