Notice on Adjusting Health Code Application Requirement
2022-11-14 23:23

According to the latest domestic requirements, the following adjustments are now made to the health code application for passengers taking flights from Greece to China, which will be implemented from the date of this notice:

I. Testing requirements

1. All passengers going to China from Greece must undergo a PCR test within 48 hours before boarding,and apply for a health code through https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/h5/ as soon as possible after obtaining  negative reports. In case of flight delay, the boarding time will still be regarded as the original scheduled departure time.

2. The PCR test result issued by the local legal testing clinic in Greece is acceptable to we embassy. Because the PCR testing institutions previously recommended by we embassy understand well the relevant requirements for PCR testing, it is still recommended that you choose these recommended institutions first.  Please note that the rapid test cannot be used as a PCR test to apply for a health code.

3. The PCR test must be sampled by Nasopharyngeal Swab, and the detection method is Real Time PCR/RT-PCR.

4. The test report shall reflect the name, address and contact information of the testing institution, as well as the complete information of the name, sampling time, date of birth, certificate number and other information of the applicant.

. Requirement about transit

1. Those passengers departing from Greece can choose to take a direct flight from Greece or take transit to China via a third country. We embassy do not limit the route to China and the number of transits.

2. Those passengers who take transit in Greece can undergo PCR testing in the place of origin (country) or in Greece, and apply for a health code from the corresponding Chinese Embassy or consulate abroad according to the testing location. If you choose to be tested at the place of origin (country), and the health code issued by the Chinese Embassy or consulate in the place of origin (country) is still valid for 48 hours when you board the plane in Greece, there is no need to carry out a second test. If the health code has expired at the time of boarding, you need to re-test and apply for another health code in Greece.
